Heather Nelson is Frenchy’s waxer.

Heather Nelson was voted “Best Waxing” and “Best Makeup Artist” of Santa Clarita for a consecutive two years. Heather is rapidly gaining recognition in the industry she loves and is infamous for her “seven minute Brazilian”. In the fall of 2009, Heather represented Aveda as the lead makeup artist of L.A. Fashion Week. She has perfected her art of eyebrow shaping, brazilian bikini waxing and making her clients feel and look amazing. Heather draws inspiration from her beautiful clients, pop culture, music and art.

“I first went for a eyebrow waxing. I was way past due for a good clean up, and I think Heather had fun since they were so bushy. I have naturally thick eyebrows, and I always insist on keeping them thick. In the past, I’ve had waxers take over and do what they think will look good… which usually means arched brows.
I don’t look good with arched brows dammnit. They are not naturally like that, so why would I want that?
Heather understood this. She assessed my facial features and cleaned up my eyebrows to enhance their natural look. I looked fabulous! (Still do, too!)
This was the first time I sat down in a chair for an eyebrow wax, too. It wasn’t any less comfortable than lying down, and the advantage (as Heather pointed out) is that she gets to see your face how everyone should see your face: right-side up. I never thought about it that way… and it makes complete sense.
